A reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Crowne Plaza Promenade Hotel The Hague, on December 12. Prominent politicians, business leaders and the diplomatic corps, as well as Kazakh citizens and students attended the event organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan.
In the welcoming speech, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Netherlands Ms. Mainyura Murzamadiyeva stressed that the reception was held under the auspices of the promotion of Kazakhstan’s candidacy for non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2017-2018. The Ambassador also emphasized the priorities for further political and economic development of Kazakhstan, such as Strategy “Kazakhstan-2050”, New Economic Policy “Nurly Zhol”.
